Half surface elf, half dark elf, everything about Astrid and Aldrin’s lives are shrouded in mystery. After their mother abandoned them, the twins spent their entire lives living in exile with their guardian Brina and her promiscuous brother, Trey. Curious and fiery, Astrid strives to learn more about their mysterious mother, while her cynical but caring brother Aldrin merely wants to keep their simple life intact. Violence seems to follow the pair when a dark elf attack leaves the two homeless and alone once again. With nothing else to lose, the two begin to question their heritage. The more they learn about their past, the more dangerous their lives become. Each new trial tests their courage, wit, and commitment to each other. The twins have no choice. They must discover the truth about their lives or the secrets of their past may destroy their future.
